Springvale South Medical Centre is a fully accredited, family GP clinic committed to providing our patients with the highest quality medical care.  Our business began in 2003 in a small clinic in Springvale South on Heatherton Road and began providing medical care to patients in Springvale and surrounding areas.   Our patient base grew rapidly and in 2023, we moved to a larger purpose-built clinic with a large treatment room, onsite pathology and parking in Springvale. Our team of doctors are experienced in all areas of general practice including Women's health, antenatal care, travel medicine, mental health, chronic conditions, geriatrics, dermatology and paediatric care.   Our friendly nurses are skilled in immunisations, wound care and care plans.  We accept walk-in patients, phone and on-line bookings.

In order to keep up with rising costs and to continue providing you with our services, we are now required to move to a mixed-billing model. This means that a small $20 ($30 on weekends) out of pocket fee will apply for GP consultations. You will need to pay the full consultation fee and claim your rebate from Medicare.

We will continue to bulk bill all children under the age of 16, Pension Card Holders and Health

Care Card Holders who hold a valid Medicare card.  GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements and immunisations will be bulk billed. Gap fee for procedures will vary depending on the procedure, please check with reception prior to booking.

We will now offer 15 min appointments with the doctors to provide a better service to our patients.  Bookings are preferred. Walk-in patients will be accepted, however, they may incur a longer wait time.
